She believes yoga is for everybody and that anyone can do yoga, as long as they have the right access to it. That has been her mission for the last few years and it’s only just the beginning!

Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown is a yoga teacher and bodyworker based in Toronto, Canada. Hannah took her first 300 hour training in 2017 and since then she has collected certifications in Thai yoga massage, yin yoga, reiki, trauma informed yoga, accessible yoga and more. In addition to teaching in studios around Toronto, Hannah teaches yoga and mindfulness in schools and to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Alaina is the founder of Aurora yoga, as well as a teacher. Her Dad died in 2022, which inspired her to offer support to those going through grief. She has always believed grief and yoga need to tap into the emotions, mind and body.

Shanna Small

Shanna Small is a writer and Yoga teacher who speaks to the intersectionality of Yoga and social justice. She has practiced Ashtanga Yoga and studied the Yoga Sutras since 2001. Shanna finds joy in making yoga accessible for all. She studied with Amber Karnes and Dianne Bondy and is Yoga For All certified. You can also find her at Sacred Vitality, her own online Yoga platform. She teaches diversity and inclusivity, Yoga Sutras as well as accessibility trainings and workshops. She is a founding member of Yoga For Recovery Foundation, a non-profit that helps those recovering from addiction, trauma and systemic oppression. Shanna is also certified in the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method by Nityada Gessel.
